It was great to get back to life drawing on Tuesday night at the Hive.  I hadn’t been for ages and it felt like coming home!  Kate was the model and she is fantastic to draw…very pale almost alabaster skin which shines under the lights… and a beautiful back!

    

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We started with 30 second warm up gestures and progressed through 4 minute poses to 25 and 30 minutes.  I was using my usual acrylics with an old faithful thin brush which has long bristles so can be a bit unpredictable but gives a great line.

Kate’s dressing gown is a rich greeny-blue colour which was reflecting onto her skin..lovely bouncy colours!
